Youth Development and Leadership
EduRise works to empower young people through leadership, mentoring, employability and civic participation — investing in the next generation.
Learn MoreInvesting in the next generation
Across Wales and the wider United Kingdom, young people have enormous potential to shape their communities and contribute to civic life. Too often, barriers of background, geography or limited opportunity prevent that potential from being fully realised.
EduRise believes that young people should be supported to develop as leaders, active citizens and contributors to their communities. Our work in youth development and leadership focuses on building young people's confidence, capabilities and connections — enabling them to lead change in their own communities and beyond.
We work with schools, youth organisations and community groups to create structured pathways where young people can develop leadership skills, engage in meaningful dialogue and take action on issues they care about.
- Leadership development programmes
- Mentoring and scholarship pathways
- Employability and enterprise skills
- Civic participation and engagement
- Youth-led community initiatives

Young people as agents of change
When young people are empowered to lead, communities gain new energy, fresh perspectives and a generation equipped to sustain positive change.
Leadership Development
Structured programmes that build confidence, decision-making skills and the capacity to lead positive change in communities and institutions.
Mentoring and Scholarships
Connecting young people with experienced mentors and creating pathways to educational and professional opportunity through scholarships and support.
Employability and Enterprise
Developing practical skills, entrepreneurial mindsets and professional networks that open doors to meaningful employment and self-directed careers.
Civic Participation
Creating spaces for young people to engage with civic institutions, contribute to community decisions and develop as active, informed citizens.
Young people are not the leaders of tomorrow — they are the contributors of today.
EduRise approaches youth development as a long-term investment in people and communities. We do not simply run programmes — we build pathways. Every young person who develops their leadership capabilities, gains a qualification or takes on a civic role creates a ripple effect that extends far beyond their own trajectory.
Our work is guided by a commitment to equity, opportunity and genuine empowerment — ensuring that young people from all backgrounds have access to the support, networks and experiences they need to thrive.

How partnerships contribute
EduRise is building partnerships with schools, youth organisations, universities, employers and community groups to create meaningful pathways for young people. We believe that the most effective youth development work happens when organisations collaborate — sharing expertise, resources and networks.
We are particularly interested in working with organisations that share our commitment to equity, opportunity and long-term investment in young people — whether in Wales, across the UK or internationally.
